InfoShot: Wearables vs. Goldfish

Wearables are big business. Sales tripled in 2013 and according to Cisco the number will rise from 22 million devices in 2013 to 177 million to 2018. Current ownership of wearables in over 18s is roughly 1 in 10, and many are predicting life-logging will help push the devices onto the wrists of millions more. But with a new study showing that it takes just six months for people to start getting bored of wearables, would people be better off not bothering?
