This paper describes the Generic Modeling concepts and Kalido’s patented approach for leveraging them to rapidly deliver data warehouses and to evolve them into flexible enterprise data warehouses containing meaningful and auditable business information. The paper explains what a business model is, how it really works to support change scenarios and contrasts it with other data warehousing design techniques.
