SAP and Akamai teamed up in the Enterprise Services Community (ES Community) program (ENL) project to take the unique approach of testing the real-world conditions impacting SAP enterprise SOA delivery by SAP via the Internet and testing how Akamai’s Web Application Acceleration solution enables the enterprise to overcome the Internet as a performance bottleneck by securely accelerating enterprise SOA-based SAP applications.
