Over the last several years, we have become used to the acronym MDM (Mobile Device Management) and its twin, EMM (Enterprise Mobile Management). For obvious reasons, they feed debates and projects, they resonate with employees regarding equipment, ease of use and access, and with the business through the productivity gains made through mobility. Another acronym - BYOD - describes employees’ preference to use their own device for both private and professional activities.
