In today's business world, organizations run on software. Sales representatives use a CRM solution to input leads; development teams use project tracking software to monitor product releases; human resources departments use HCM solutions to handle people-related tasks; facilities teams use service mangement solutions to maintain operation of facilities; marketing teams use marketing automation tools to ensure their strategy is working; and the list goes on. Software provides us the ability to monitor, track, analyze, view, and report on data that matters to us.
Great enterprise software is meant to enable businesses. It automates workflows to increase business efficiency. It provides employees the information they need to make the best decisions. It speeds up mundane processes to improve employee productivity. Unfortunately. today's enterprise software isn't great yet.
