PAPSTAR is a leading European distributor of party and catering products and their data center and IT services team looks after 200 endpoints across German headquarters and subsidiaries in seven countries. Unfortunately, images on their product database became encrypted in a ransomware attack and it soon went after network applications. This case study looks at how Malwarebytes was able to eliminate the need for PAPSTAR to manually remove malware from endpoints and add four layers of protection to stop malicious payloads from being delivered.
