The Illinois-based McLean County School District 5’s 10-gigabyte Internet pipe connects 13,500 students and 2,500 faculty and staff at 28 elementary, middle and high schools. The education institution was struggling with providing enough bandwidth and providing security for 4,300 students to work remotely on laptops. This case study looks at how the school improved security, optimized bandwidth, safely enabled access to online learning tools, and supported a sizable expansion in remote student users.
