And monetary technologies like bitcoin make it virtually impossible for law enforcement authorities to track ransom payments. Traditional security approaches are not sufficient to thwart ransomware attacks. Advanced models using next-generation firewalls, layered security, and proactive threat intelligence are a requisite.
