HyperGrid has a new solution, HyperCloud, an “on-premises public cloud”, that provides on-site, cloud infrastructure for compute, storage and networking and is delivered as a service. Like a public cloud it requires no up-front investment (companies do not own the infrastructure), it’s sold based on consumption but run on-premises. The question is, “how do the costs of this new solution stack up with the public cloud or with other on-site infrastructure solutions?”

Evaluator Group examined HyperCloud Enterprise Cloud-as-a-Service and compared it to AWS (Amazon Web Services), and to a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solution with some cloudlike features.
