Overview

The introduction of NIS and GDPR has raised the bar on security requirements for companies doing business in Europe. The legislation states that organizations must now take into account technologies and practices which are deemed ‘state of the art’ in security and the results of this survey, carried out by IDC, shows that while most companies believe they are already compliant with the new rules, most in fact have a poor understanding of the concept ‘state of the art’. This white paper looks at the approaches by businesses to achieving compliance and highlights the varying perceptions of the new rules.
