What are you reading now? I’m currently reading two books: Blockchain Revolution: How the Technology Behind Bitcoin Is Changing Money, Business, and the World by Alex Tapscott and Don Tapscott This book is an excellent read for anyone who wants to really get their head wrapped around the concepts of Blockchain and the implications for individuals and enterprises in the coming years. The Overstory by Richard Powers This winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for fiction is a fantastic novel that’s presented as a group of intertwined short stories highlighting the interconnectedness of humans and our environment told through the lens of trees. Highly recommend.

Most people don't know that I… I’m a passionate fan and advocate for the sport of lacrosse! Many are aware that for most of the sport’s history, playing high school and college lacrosse were reserved for kids growing up on the East Coast. I had the opportunity to play college lacrosse in California during a time when the sport was just beginning to gain traction on the West Coast. I loved the sport and continued to play for club teams in the San Francisco Bay Area after college. It’s amazing to see the growth of the sport over the years and I’m happy I was able to be a part of shaping its evolution in the early days in California.

In my spare time, I like to… I love to stay active in a variety of outdoor activities including ocean sports, mountain biking, CrossFit workouts, and hiking with my dogs. Most recently I’ve been honing in on my skills as a sportscaster announcing the play-by-play for my son’s high school baseball games.

Ask me to do anything but… Worry about things I cannot control.
