    I was a financial analyst at Rothschild Bank.

    The Walkman (OMG did I just say that?)
  4. Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
    An INSEAD lecturer (I wrote a LinkedIn blog post about it)
  5. What has been your greatest achievement?
    Succeeding at LinkedIn after a pretty bad start.
  6. What has been your biggest mistake?
    Assuming hard work always meant results (hence a pretty bad start at LinkedIn).
  7. What is your greatest strength?
    Resilience
  8. What is your biggest weakness?
    Impatience
  9. What do you think is the aspect of your role most neglected by peers?   
    Instinct. In a data driven world, that will make the difference.

    Fortune favors the bold.

    Being late

    Reading… literature (I never open a business book)

    Simple Minds, “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” – the sound of a generation.

    Any history book because history keeps repeating itself.

    I am an avid skier and fan of riders like Candide Thovex or Cody Townsend

    Japan… also for skiing J

    Apple… still.
  18. What do you love most about your job?
    The fact that it spans across all disciplines. As a CMO, you need to understand Finance, Sales, IT, HR on top of Product, Comms and Brand.

    Journey to the End of the Night by Louis Ferdinand Celine

    A bad red wine
