In 2014, Dow Jones’ parent company News Corp North America laid out goals to move 75% of all compute to the public cloud, to reduce 50 data centres globally down to six. However, to accomplish this effectively, Dow Jones needed to ensure they migrated with the ideal partner who could help them to meet their needs. This case study examines how Dow Jones approached their migration to the Amazon AWS cloud using Commvault’s Data Platform.
