IT giants Apple and Google are looking to dominate the digital health space with Google Fit and Apple HealthKit with good reason. Described as being the hottest category to fund for venture capitalists, digital health is showing no signs of slowing down. This year alone, it has landed some $2.3 billion in funding, already dwarfing the entire haul for 2013. And there’s more to come.
