1.             Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Neenah, Wisconsin. I moved around quite a bit growing up and have lived in 13 states.         

2.             What was your first job?  
I worked at a Burger King.

3.             What was the first product you got really excited about?   
The Intel 8080 micorprocessor and the amazing things you could do with it! Though as a kid, I thought the Polaroid Swinger was the coolest thing on the planet!

4.             Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
Kanwal Rekhi – an entrepreneur’s entrepreneur.

5.             What has been your greatest achievement?
Two beautiful daughters

6.             What has been your biggest mistake?
Mistakes are an opportunity to learn, so they’ve all led to positive things.

7.             What is your greatest strength?
Helping people be better than the think they can be

8.             What is your biggest weakness?
Impatience

9.             What do you think is the aspect of your role most neglected by peers?   
Meaningful analytics and measurement

10.         Which word or phrase is your mantra and which word or phrase makes you squirm?
“Get S&*t Done” is my mantra, that or simply, “Think”.
All of those trite business-speak sayings, such as: “let me marinate on that for a bit.”

11.         What makes you stressed?
Unreliable people

12.         What do you do to relax?
Golf

13.         What is your favourite song?
Hotel California

14.         Which book taught you most?
‘High Output Management’ by Andy Grove – the first great business book I ever read and it came at a time when I really needed those lessons.

15.         Do you have a team or sport that you follow?
I follow most sports – The NBA’s Golden State Warriors are my current favourite.

16.         Which country would you like to work in?
I like it here in the US.

17.         Which company do you think has the best marketing?
Apple

18.         What do you love most about your job?
Making a difference for the people I work with and those who are on my team.

19.         What is your favourite book?
I don’t have a favourite book, but I mostly read for recreation, and I read suspense and mystery style fiction.

20.         What keeps you awake at night?
Reading
