LT-70P Videophone (video conferencing product running at 14.4Kbs)

(4) Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

My wife (a very good marketer)

(5) What has been your greatest achievement?

Launching MOSO, the first wireless ASP (which we would call cloud and PaaS today)

(6) What has been your biggest mistake?

AT&T Unisource acquisition

(7) What is your greatest strength?

The ability to see different opportunities

(8) What is your biggest weakness?

 Honesty

(9) What do you think is the aspect of your role most neglected by peers?   

Focus on profitable business, return of working capital and the various “levers” of business.

(10) Which word or phrase is your mantra and which word or phrase makes you squirm?

 “Try” as mantra.  “Innovate” to squirm

(11) What makes you stressed?

People not trying, not caring about the impact on the customer in what they do.

Music, ocean kayaking, biking.

Every day is different, every day new problems and opportunities, the ability to pass on what I’ve learned.
