iMovie 10.0.1 update supports older video cards

Apple released a minor update to its Mavericks-only redesigned video-editing software on Wednesday, focusing on two areas.

iMovie 10.0.1 expands the software's availability to install on computers with some older (although unspecified) video cards. It also deals with reliably updating projects and events from previous versions of iMovie.

iMovie 10.0.1 only runs on OS X 10.9 Mavericks. The software is free for iLife '11 owners, or for those who purchase a new Mac. Otherwise, it costs $15 to download from the Mac App Store.
