DC Comics unveils new Batman logo for 75th anniversary

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of DC's Batman comics, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Entertainment have taken the wraps off a special new Batman logo for the occasion.

The new black-and-white logo, shown above, merges the familiar Bat symbol associated with the superhero with the number 75, and will be used on Batman-related promotions, products and initiatives throughout the year.

The logo comes as part of a year-long '75 years of Batman' celebration, which, in addition to the commemorative logo, will include a "Cape/Cowl/Create" art exhibition at San Diego Comic-Con International in July featuring 20 artists' interpretations of The Dark Knight's cowl headpiece and cape.

Find out more about the various elements of the 75 years of Batman celebration on the DC Comics website.
