Oppo partner with JB Hi-Fi on new budget A3s handset

Oppo has launched its latest budget handset exclusively through JB Hi-Fi, the Oppo A3s.

The Oppo A3s runs on ColorOS 5.1, and has a 6.2-inch HD+ display, a Qualcomm Adreno 506 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage plus a hefty 4230mAh battery. Obviously, the latter is the focus here, with the Oppo webpage for the new device emphasizing the bigger battery and dual lens camera - which aren't usually found in devices this cheap.

The Oppo A3s also includes support for memory expansion via MicroSD and a dual-lens rear camera (13-megapixel + 2-megapixel) paired up with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The A3s also boasts all the usual connectivity, minus NFC, and supports 2D face unlock. It also features a slightly unusual aspect ratio of 19:9 and a conspicous notch.

Two colors are available: Red and Dark Purple.

The Oppo A3s is available now through JB Hi-Fi for an RRP of $279.
